Craniosacral Therapy

Rupert Crockett

Since my initial training in massage 15 years ago, I have explored a variety of different styles and techniques related to massage, and I incorporate many of these within the treatment session. Since 2005, I am also a fully qualified Craniosacral Therapist.

I bring with me a lot of experience, passion and work intuitively. Every treatment is tailored to the patient’s needs. I am continually taking courses to upgrade my skills.

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy is a very gentle therapy that is done fully clothed although loose clothing is recommended.
The practioner uses specific hand positions to help the body release restrictions and tensions wherever they are found in the body.
The treatment involves allowing the person to completely relax and this really helps the body to repair and realign itself. The treatment usually lasts for one hour. Craniosacral therapy can be helpful for any conditions within the body since its primary aim is to restore balance in a safe and effective way.

Craniosacral Therapy and Babies

Craniosacral therapy is particularly relevant to babies and children, and may help in resolving many childhood conditions, such as:

  • effects of difficult birth
  • colic
  • feeding difficulties
  • disturbed sleep
  • digestive disturbances
  • restlessness
  • excessive crying
  • and many more.
